Stephen Griner, President & Chief Operating Officer

Stephen began his career in financial services in 2001 handling financial planning, investments, and insurance. Since joining the Persium team in 2004, his roles and responsibilities have progressed. In 2008, Stephen began leading daily operations, became an equity owner in 2009, and was named President in 2011. Today, he oversees all company operations, chairs the Persium Investment Committee, and works with a select number of clients.

Stephen is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. In 2010, Stephen earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals.

Stephen is a native of Georgia and spent his formative years in Athens. He married his high school sweetheart, Angela, with whom he has twin boys Aiden and Will. They currently reside in Brookhaven and are members of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. Stephen enjoys staying active outdoors through hunting, fishing, hiking, and rock climbing. He spends most weekends with his family at Lake Rabun. During the football season, they travel to Athens to cheer on his alma mater.
